Overview

This document gives an overview of how to set up integration with Microsoft 365 email service.

Note that the configuration of the Microsoft 365 server is an example and since the procedure may have changed you should always check the official Microsoft documentation.

To get started with the integrations you need access to corporate Microsoft 365 service. For support, contact your IT department.

  1. Configure Microsoft 365 as per your needs.
    • Server authentication is for cases where mailbox in Microsoft 365 is a shared mailbox and multiple users can use it to read and send email messages, for example info@example.com.
    • User authentication is for integrating to licensed mailboxes, for example firstname.lastname@example.com.
  2. When the Microsoft 365 configuration is done, configure email server and queue in Sinch Contact Pro.
  3. Give agents rights to serve in the email queue.
