Reporting Specifications
In this view you can specify the advanced attributes that are shown in Reporting for a user, or user group. A reporting specification may also have a static value, such as a user's cost center. The specified attributes are not reported in any standard report but you must make a custom report. For instructions, see the Reporting Data Guide document.

-

A user belongs to the groups Group 1
and Group 2
. The groups Group 1
, Group 6
, and Group 10
have the following attributes:
-
Target: Department
-
Source: Name
This means that the value for the reporting attribute Department is from the attribute Name.
The requested attribute is searched for in the groups to which the user belongs. If
various values are found, the nearest one is used (in this case the different group
branches are found from Group 1
and Group 6
). The reporting specification
has a priority value, which is used for solving the used value. If the priority is the
same, the value is solved by checking the IDs in the ascending order.
