Connecting to SAP System Landscape Directory (SLD)
The system model information of a Sinch Contact Pro system is saved also in a format that can be sent to SAP System Landscape Directory (SLD) for monitoring. Sinch Contact Pro system cannot be managed from the SAP SLD.
Every time any changes are made to configuration, for example, a module is installed or removed, a new version of the system model is sent to SLD. Sending SLD information requires that the SLD registration file and connection files are specified during HAC installation.
Connecting to SLD System
To configure connection at the SLD end, see the SAP SLD documentation.
To define registration and connection files, define the paths for SLD Registration File and SLD Connection File during HAC Node installation. For more information about HAC installation variables, see Installation Guide or IA application help.
SLD Information
Information sent to SLD includes the following information:
-
Virtual units
-
Virtual unit instances
-
Database (if the virtual unit instance includes database components)
-
Information about product (such as version) connected to the virtual unit instance
-
Software packages installed on the virtual unit instance
-
Components that are included in the software packages installed on the virtual unit instance
-
Support packages to the components that are included in the software packages installed on the virtual unit instance.
Additionally, from different logical systems (such as customer ACME), their virtual units are sent to SLD.
