Maintenance

Release upgrades and other system maintenance are done in quarterly maintenance windows on RTC day. There are one or several short service breaks during the maintenance window. Maintenance windows for each region are:

  • Europe: Sat 4 PM – Sun 10 PM UTC
  • Americas: Sun 1 AM – Mon 7 AM UTC
  • APAC: Sat 10 AM PM – Sun 4 PM UTC
  • Africa: Sat 4 PM – Sun 10 PM UTC

Maintenance windows are excluded from availability calculations. In case there is a need for maintenance outside quarterly maintenance windows, customers are notified separately.

Maintenance notifications

Sinch notifies customers at https://status.sinch.com/ about the exact timing of maintenance and duration of expected service break. To receive emails about maintenance notifications, subscribe to notifications according to instructions. Notifications are sent as follows:

  • Preliminary notification on Tuesday before the maintenance
  • Start notification when the maintenance begins
  • Maintenance complete notification when the maintenance is finished.
