Chat Improvements

New channels are supported, and social chats are now restored after an outage.

New Messaging Channel

WeChat is now supported via Conversation API.

Conversational Messaging

Conversations from social channels are now restored in case of a system upgrade, reset or crash. Note the following:
  • Outgoing chats that are in process are not restored.
  • The system is active again after the recovery process which takes 5-10 minutes.
  • Restored conversations are not counted as billable.

Contact Identity for SAP Service Cloud (C4C)
