Configuring Disruption Management

This section instructs in implementing Disruption Management.

To implement disruption management:

  1. Check that the user rights related to disruption management are as needed. Update, if necessary. See User Rights and Roles.
  2. Import disruption items as the basic data needed for the IVR application. See Importing Disruption Items.
  3. Add the audio prompts needed in the disruption IVR application. If you do not want to use dynamic prompts generated by the IVRTalk component for playing Disruption Item data to callers, also add recorded audio prompts for these into the system.

For more information on creating prompts, see Creating Prompts in the System Configurator document.

  4. Add the IVR application(s) needed into the system. See Adding an IVR Application for Disruptions. You can find the file used in the example in the Examples and Templates folder of your Sinch Contact Pro installation..
  5. Configure Restful Configuration Interface (RCI) to retrieve disruption event data from the relevant system. See Restful Configuration Interface: disruptionSets and RCI documentation.
