Variable	Description
E-Mail Sender Priority	Priority class for e-mail sender process; choose the value from the list of High, Above Normal, Normal, Below Normal, and Idle.
Use Windows Authentication for Database Connections	Specify whether Windows authentication should be used for database connections. The selection is on by default, and we recommend using it. With Windows authentication, you can leave database password fields empty. If you de select the option, SQL logon is used, and you must enter database user name and password for each database connection, and they are saved in registry and log files as plain text.
Configuration Database Server Address or Name	By default, the value defined in database installation is used automatically.
Configuration Database Name	By default, the value defined in database installation is used automatically.
Configuration Database User Name	By default, the value defined in database installation is used automatically.
Configuration Database Password	By default, the value defined in database installation is used automatically.
Operative Database Server Address or Name	By default, the value defined in database installation is used automatically.
Operative Database Name	By default, the value defined in database installation is used automatically.
Operative Database User Name	By default, the value defined in database installation is used automatically.
Operative Database Password	By default, the value defined in database installation is used automatically.
Log File Directory of the Virtual Unit	Software running in the virtual unit uses this directory for their log files
SMTP Pickup Directory	Specify this directory only if other than default SMTP directory is needed.
SMTP Drop Directory	Specify this directory only if other than default SMTP directory is needed. This must be defined if the setting String Used for Deleting Voicemail Messages in System Configurator > System Services > Voicemail Settings is used.
Message Format	Choose the appropriate option from default, MIME, and plain.
Transfer Encoding	Base64 is used. Option is reserved for future use.
Internal Server Certificate in Use	Internal Server Certificate can be used to secure server-server connection.
Internal Server Certificate Common Name	Internal Server Common Name part of the Certificate Subject, Issued To.
Internal Server Certificate Issuer	Optional Internal Server Certificate issuer name, Issued By.
Internal Server Certificate Store	Internal Server Certificate store location.
Interface Library Used for E-Mails	Choose the library that is used to send and receive e-mails, either CDO or .NET. The .NET option is recommended with 2008, and later. If you change the library of a running system, EmailSender must be restarted before the settings takes effect. As of SP09 the default value was changed to .NET. The change affects only in new installations. Added in SP07.
HTTP Proxy Policy for HTTP Connections	Choose the proxy type used for outgoing HTTP requests. Added in 2005.
Proxy Used for Outgoing HTTP Connections	Enter the DNS name or IP of the named proxy used for HTTP connections. Added in 2005.
