Restarting Modules

Configuration changes made in System Configurator are typically applied automatically. In some special cases, or in error situations, restarting a module is required.

Make sure you know in which virtual unit, or units, the module is located in your system. Default list of virtual units and their modules can be found in Installation Guide, but your system may differ from the default model.

  1. Choose Virtual Units in the lower part of the model tree.
  2. Choose the active instance of the virtual unit where the module is installed. Active instance is marked with a green triangle Active.
  3. Right-click the component you want to restart, and choose Reset.
