Support Package: Upgrading IA

You can upgrade IA tool separately without affecting HAC services or actual software.

Note:

  • IA requires that the Java SE Runtime is installed on those servers and administration workstation where IA is run.

  • Always upgrade all HAC and IA applications to the same version in a system.

  1. Back up the HAC system model and IA files (format .WIM) before upgrade.

  2. In IA, choose File > Exit.

  3. Remove the previous version of the IA in the Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.

  4. Install the new IA version from the MSI package.

  5. Start IA and select File > Open and browse for your model file.
