E911 Emergency Calling

This section introduces the emergency location feature available in the US.

To comply with Kari's law and RAY BAUM’s Act Sinch Contact Pro emergency calling capabilities have been enhanced in co-operation with Inteliquent E911 features:

• Ability for users to maintain a verified address of their physical location in Communication Panel.​
• Location address validated against Inteliquent verification API to ensure the entered address is real.​
• Location delivery to PSAP (public-safety access point) when a Communication Panel user dials 911.​
• Email notification to a company’s front desk when a Communication Panel user dials 911.​
