Integration Into Single Sign-On Environments

As an alternative to user authentication with user name and password, end-users can be authenticated with X.509 client certificates. In that case, user authentication is performed on the Web server using the Secure Sockets Layer Protocol (SSL Protocol). User authorizations are validated in accordance with the authorization concept in the Sinch system.

The client certificate must be enabled in the Connection Server installation in the IA tool, in the web site configuration, and configured for user accounts in the User Management configuration in the System Configurator.
