Tracing Session IDs

You use this procedure to activate and deactivate the session ID tracing.

The traced session ID is used when viewing log files. For more information about tracing, see Operation Guide and Security Guide.

  1. On the System Configurator main screen, choose File > Tracing
  2. Choose Enable Session Tracing.
  3. To view the session ID, choose Show Traced Session ID.

    A dialog window opens and displays the session ID. You can copy it using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + C.

  4. To stop the session tracing, choose Disable Session Tracing.
