Email Server
Sinch Contact Pro does not have virus
scanning for attachments, spam filter, or automatic monitoring of disk space on servers.
Malicious attacks by sending excessive amounts of large emails may impair also other functions
on the server since filling up disk space brings services to a halt. To prevent this:
- Use a virus scanner on email and application servers to scan attachments.
- Ensure that also workstations have a virus scanner installed.
- Use appropriate spam filters on email server.
- Monitor frequently used server disk space and server performance at database and application servers. For more information, see Operation Guide section Server Performance Metrics.
- Define email attachments to be stored on disk and preferably on different one than is used for Sinch Contact Pro ( ). You may need to replicate folder content if HAC model is in use.
- Prevent loading too many emails per queue to the system with the SC parameter . For more information, see System Configurator section Configuring Channel Settings.
