Office Network
End-users operate in office network that is separated from the server segment with a firewall.
Communication Destop (CDT)
Communication Destop (CDT) is a browser-based user interface that requires that an ActiveX terminal component is installed on the client workstation. The terminal connects to CoS via a secured TLS connection. The basic web pages that come from the Web Clients package can use HTTP connection.
CDT enables the auto-login feature with the startup URL, only.
Convergence
Convergence is a .NET-based software installed on the client workstation. It connects to CoS via a secured TLS connection.
Online Monitoring
Online Monitoring is a browser-based user interface. The connection can be secure or non-secure HTTP.
RTP
The voice is carried in the network as Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP) packages. Sinch Contact Center supports secure RTP (SRTP) between different types of terminals that are not behind third-party gateways. SRTP is configured in the System Configurator application, and if it is applied, all CDT:s in the system use it.
Directories:
The information entered in the System Configurator application User Management is displayed as the in-house directory. External directories can be created by importing customer contact information for example for Outbound campaigns.
System Configurator
System Configurator is intended for Sinch Contact Center administrators only. It is a Java application where system, queue, presence and user accounts are configured. Define the user policy so that only the appropriate users have access to it. Configuration changes can be logged in the Agent Server audit log.
Monitoring Web Clients
Monitoring Web Clients package provides user interfaces for Online Monitoring and Reporting. The information displayed in these views can be protected by configuring the Data Collector component. Configuration changes can be optionally logged in the Agent Server audit log.
