Dial Pad

With the Dial Pad you can make or transfer phone calls or use for DTMF inputs.

The Dial Pad button is enabled if you have chat or phone capability, and its buttons are enabled depending on your authorized capabilities:

• The Call button is enabled if you have the phone capability, and you have entered phone number in the field.

• The Transfer button is enabled when you have an active call, and you have entered another phone number in the field.

• The Close button is always enabled, it closes the Dial Pad.

You can enter numbers from the Communication Panel keypad or via your keyboard. Initiate dialing out with the call button or keyboard's Enter.

With the DTMF switch turned on, you can send DTMF during a call, for example when answering to responses in an IVR. (Dual Tone Multi-Frequency are sent using the audible in-band method.)

The Send Message button was moved to main screen in 2005.
