Installing Sytel Dialer for Outbound Campaign

Use

Install the Sytel dialer on a separate server. Supported version is 10.5.88.

Prerequisites

  • Make sure there is the newest 4.0 compatible .NET Framework installed on the server

  • The default TCP port is 6502.

Procedure

Installing

Move from a view to the next one with the Next button.

  1. To start the installation, double-click the DialerSetup-xxx.msi.

  2. In Level of Compliance, select the appropriate territory for dialing and the option Comply with local legislation.

  3. In Server Installation Options, select the Standalone component(s) option.

  4. In Components, select the following ones:

    • Dialer (CallGEM)

    • Name space

    • Telephony gateway

  5. Restart Microsoft Windows after installation.

Activating License

To be able to use the dialer, you must have a license for it. Typically, Sytel sends it in a SoftDongle.zip.

  1. Extract the file from the zip, and double-click it.

  2. The license will be installed and you should see the licensing information in the Dongle Serial Number view.

Activating Dialer

To define the dialer in Sinch Contact Pro:

  1. Go to System Configurator Outbound Management > Dialers.

  2. Give an appropriate name.

  3. Select the type SytelPredictive.

  4. Enter the address of the server where the dialer is installed.
