Installing Restful Virtual Unit

CAUTION:

  • Use HTTP only for demo and testing purposes. In real production environments, leave the HTTP port empty, and if there is IIS on the server, define for the HTTPS port a value that is different from the IIS default port 443.

  • In SP09 only: Do not install Restful Interfaces in the same virtual unit as ECF Web Server or Web Server.

  1. Install Restful Interfaces with Infrastructure Administrator (IA), the required variables are in the table Restful Interfaces (RI) Variables.

  2. Enable only the required ones of

    • Restful Configuration Interface (RCI)

    • Restful Monitoring Interface (RMI)

    • Restful Task Interface (RTI)

      For RTI, you must install the TMI interface as well with the Integration Interfaces package. You need to define the TMI URL in RTI variables

    • License Reporting Interface (LRI)

    • Restful Directory and Presence Interface (DPI)

    • Restful Contact Management (CMI)
