Configuring Directory Settings

  1. Choose Tools > Settings > Directory > General.
  2. Configure the settings according to the following tables:

    Choose the template that determines the shown list and search items.

    Note:

    This option is only available to users who have supervisor rights.

    Autom. Focus

    Select this option if you want that the Directory view appears automatically when you answer an inbound contact. Simultaneously the cursor moves to the search criterion field and you execute a search.

    Focus on List

    Select this option if you want that the cursor moves to the top of the search result list and you can continue by scrolling the results using the arrow keys on your keyboard. This function is especially useful for switchboard operators.

    Search Limit

    Choose the maximum number of search results. The default value is 100. In large directories this value is too small so change it, for example, to 1000.

    Incoming Call

    Choose Source (A number) or Destination (the initial B number) as a search criterion if you want that CDT executes a search based on an incoming call. This function is especially useful for switchboard operators. For example, the Destination value shows you information about the target the caller tried to reach originally. Note that the option Destination works only with transferred calls.

    Display Call Event View

    Select this option if you want that the call event view appears automatically when there is an inbound call.

  3. Click Apply.
