Define Your Audio Device

  1. Go to User Menu > Settings > Audio Settings.
  2. Select the tone for incoming conversations, an audio device vendor if one has been installed in your system, and the device for incoming and outgoing audio.

    Select the tone for each conversation type or the option No Tone. You can listen to the selected tone with the Play button.

    Call Waiting

    Select the tone played to alert of any additional incoming calls to your personal call queue. Administrators define the number of incoming calls allowed in your personal call queue in System Configurator (User and Role Management > Users > [user] > Contact Settings > Maximum Number of Waiting Calls)
  3. Check the output and input sound of your workstation.

    Communication Panel uses audio service from the operating system so make sure the volume levels are suitable.

    • Windows: Settings > Sound

    • macOS Ventura: System Settings > Sound
