SIP Bridge Variables

SIP Bridges can serve in three functions:
  • PSTN SIP Bridge: to handle call traffic to/from SIP trunks
  • ETC SIP Bridge: to handle Sinch Contact Pro internal SIP desk phone users
  • WebRTC SIP Bridge: to handle Communication Panel users' phone traffic
When you add SIP Bridges to the system, the following rules are used to determine eligibility of a SIP Bridge for a given functionality:
  • PSTN SIP Bridges - SIP Bridges, which have linked SIP/H.323 trunk(s)
  • ETC SIP Bridges - SIP Bridges, which are explicitly linked to ETC from System Configurator
  • WebRTC SIP Bridges – SIP Bridges without trunk links and not linked to ETC

SIP Bridge installation variables are:

Table 1. SIP Bridge Variables

Variable

With Windows authentication, you can leave database password fields empty. If you de select the option, SQL logon is used, and you must enter database user name and password for each database connection, and they are saved in registry and log files as plain text.

Log File Directory of the Virtual Unit

Software running in the virtual unit uses this directory for their log files.

Minimum SIP Session Expiration (Seconds)

Minimum SIP session expiration in seconds, used in SIP header as Min-SE. The default is 180, the minimum value is 90. Added in SP03.

SIP Session Refresher

If the caller uses refresher parameter in the SIP message INVITE, the callee must respect the value; otherwise the callee can decide the refresher (uac or uas as described in rfc 4028). 0 = Caller refreshes, uac used in INVITE and OK (unless the caller decides otherwise); 1 = SIP Bridge refreshes, uac used in INVITE, uas used in OK, if possible; 2 = Other end refreshes, uas used in INVITE, uac used in OK, if possible; 3 = Callee refreshes, uas used in INVITE and OK, if possible. Default is 1 (Sip Bridge). Added in SP03.

UDP Port for Inbound SIP Messages

UDP port for inbound SIP messages. Default is 5060.

TCP Port for Inbound SIP Messages

TCP port for inbound SIP messages. Default is 5060.

TLS Port for Inbound SIP Messages

TLS port for inbound SIP messages. Default is 5061.

The default value is 0, No Authentication.

Maximum Number of Simultaneous Calls
