Deployment Menu

The items are enabled only when an appropriate element is chosen from the screen. To find the same function in context menu, right-click the system element.

• Add Software ...: Adds software packages to a virtual unit's Software element. First choose the base installation and then a package.

• Edit Virtual Unit: Enables editing an existing virtual unit.

• Purge Unused Variables: Removes unused variables. This may be required when software is removed from a virtual unit. Saving the system model carries out the same function.

• Apply Changes to Host: Applies changes that have been made at any level to the host that is currently edited.

• Apply Changes to Local System: Applies changes that have been made to the local system that is currently edited.

• Add Hotfixes to Base Installation: Adds a correction package to a certain software version.

• Remove Hotfixes from Base Installation: Removes a correction package from a certain software version.

• Refresh Local System: Refreshes a local system model tree and element properties pane.
