Entering DTMF Digits During Active Calls
You use this procedure to enter DTMF (dual tone multi-frequency) digits during an active call, for example, when an IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system answers your outbound call.

To enter DTMF digits during an active call, click the Dial pad or use a shortcut key.
The dial pad window opens.

Enter digits in one of the following ways.
- Select the digits with a mouse click in the dial pad.
- When the focus is in the Dial Pad entering field, you can enter digits
also from a keyboard. Numbers can be entered both from the actual keyboard
and from the numeric keypad when the Num Lock is on.
The two special DTMF digits can also be entered from the numeric keypad when the Num Lock is on
- To get *, press * (asterisk).
- To get #, press / (slash).
