Removing Software from Installed System
Use
You can remove virtual units directly only if they do not have any instances on HAC nodes. In normal case, to remove software, remove all its instances.
All installed software modules are displayed in System Configurator in
as long as the module has at least one instance.Prerequisites

Procedure
Removing Virtual Unit with No Instances
To remove a virtual unit with no instances, right-click VU name and choose Delete.
Typically there are no this kind of virtual units but during installation before instantiation.
Removing Virtual Unit Instances
To remove an instantiated virtual unit, remove its instances from all nodes:

To inactivate the instance, choose the VU instance in the model tree under HAC Nodes and set the Role to Inactive.

Right-click the instance name and choose Remove Instances.

Right click the HAC Node name and choose Apply Changes to Local System.

Repeat the steps 2–3 on all instances/HAC Nodes.
Only after all instances have been removed, the module disappears from Modules list in SC.
Removing Module Component Instances

To inactivate the instance, choose the VU instance in the model tree under HAC Nodes and set the Role to Inactive.

To display list of module components of an instance, expand the instance name and Software under it.

Right-click the module name and choose Delete.

Right click the HAC Node name and choose Apply Changes to Local System.

Repeat the steps 2–3 on all instances.
