Element Properties: Redundancy

Define the redundancy-related element properties in the Redundancy block:

• Timeouts: Define the times how long the IA waits until it tries to repair the situation with the following settings:

  • Automatic Repair Instances When All Instances Have Failed after (s): The default value 120 seconds.

  • Wait Time-out for Instances in Unknown Status: The default value 20 seconds.

• Managing Instance Roles:

  Maintain the redundancy system with the following settings.

  • Minimum active instances: Minimum number of instances attempted to maintain active. The default value is 1.

  • Maximum active instances: Maximum number of instances allowed active. The default value is 1.

  • Maximum standby instances: Number of additional instances to be kept in the standby mode if it is possible. The default value is 0.
