High Availability

This section describes the High Availability Controller (HAC) tool.

Sinch Contact Center system includes the tool High Availability Controller (HAC) that runs as a Windows service. We recommend installing HAC on all servers except on database clusters and on the demilitarized zone (DMZ). When the actual software packages are installed in virtual units that have instances on more than one server, HAC nodes on the servers communicate with other HAC nodes and make sure that all virtual units have at least one instance running.
