Virtual IP address, for information only. Address cannot be changed as it is defined when the virtual unit is created. |
Use Windows Authentication for Database Connections |
Specify whether Windows authentication should be used for database connections. The selection is on by default, and we recommend using it. With Windows authentication, you can leave database password fields empty. If you de select the option, SQL logon is used, and you must enter database user name and password for each database connection, and they are saved in registry and log files as plain text. |

Data Collector's Port for Event Collection |
The TCP/TLS port number where Data Collector listens for event sending clients. The default value is 21009. |

Size of the memory buffer in bytes to receive events from a single client. The default value is 1000000. |
Data Collector's Transaction File Buffer Directory |
Data Collector saves transaction file buffers into this directory, the default value is $VU_HOME$\temp. |
Data Collector's Transaction Buffer Size |
Size of a single file buffer in bytes to store transaction data per database destination. The default value is 1000000. |
Data Collector's Batch Size for Events |
Maximum number of events that Data Collector processes in one round (See also Maximum Event Processing Period). The default value is 100. |
Data Collector's Maximum Event Processing Period |
Maximum processing period in milliseconds for events in one round (See also Batch Size). The default value is 1000. |
Data Collector's Shutdown Period |
Time for graceful shutdown in milliseconds. The default value is 5000. |
Time between Data Collector's Heart Beat Messages, in Seconds |
Specifies how frequently Data Collector sends heart beat messages to the clients. The default value is 5. |
