Quality Monitoring Server (QMS) installation variables are:

Description

IP Address of the Virtual Unit

Virtual IP address, for information only. Address cannot be changed as it is defined when the virtual unit is created.

Log File Directory of the Virtual Unit

Software running in the virtual unit uses this directory for their log files

Quality Monitoring Server Port

The TCP/IP port, the default value is 21016.

HTTP Mode (QMI)

Choose whether Debug (HTTP) or Secure (HTTPS) mode is used.

Certificate store (QMI)

Certificate store location, the default value is HKLM/My

Certificate Common Name (QMI)

Common Name part of the Certificate Subject, Issued To

Certificate Issuer (QMI)

Optional certificate issuer name, Issued By

Verify Client Certificate (QMI)

To enable using client certificate for user authentication, select this option.

Configuration Database Server Address or Name

By default, the value defined in database installation is used automatically.

Configuration Database Name

By default, the value defined in database installation is used automatically.

Use Windows Authentication for Database Connections Specify whether Windows authentication should be used for database connections. If you choose the option, you can leave database user name and password fields empty. If you do not choose it, SQL logons will be used and you must enter database user name and password for each database connection. Note that if SQL logons are used, the passwords will be visible in plain text in Windows registry. Added in 2002.
Configuration Database User Name When Windows authentication is used, enter here the domain account in format domain\user that is used to access the Configuration database. When Windows authentication is not used, enter the SQL logon name. Added in 2002.
Configuration Database Password When Windows authentication is used, this should be left empty. Note that this will be visible in plain text in some files and in Windows registry. Added in 2002.

Internal Server Certificate in Use

Internal Server Certificate can be used to secure server-server connection.

Internal Server Certificate Common Name

Internal Server Common Name part of the Certificate Subject, Issued To.

Internal Server Certificate Issuer

Optional Internal Server Certificate issuer name, Issued By
