Configuring External Agent Settings

Administrators must have given you user rights for both External Agent and MTD.

Note:

If the MTD right is added later on, to apply the new right, log off from the External Agent function and log on again.

This procedure describes how to configure the external agent function in CDT.

For more detailed information about the external agent function, see External Agent.

  1. Choose Tools > Settings > Phone > Advanced > External Agent.
  2. Configure the settings according to the following table.

    Ext. Agent when Logged Off

    Select this option if you want that you start receiving calls as an external agent always when you log off.

    If you serve in queues as an external agent, this setting applies only to queues that have been selected in the Enabled column.

    The setting remains active until you deselect it.

    External No.

    Enter the number to which the inbound calls are connected.

    Log On

    Select this option if you want that you start receiving calls as an external agent as soon as you click Apply. In this case, CDT closes automatically.

    If you serve in queues as an external agent, this setting applies only to queues that have been selected in the Enabled column.

  3. Click Apply.
