Defining Profile Settings

You use this procedure to define settings that relate to the system’s presence management.

  1. On the System Configurator main screen, choose Presence Management > Settings.
  2. In the Advanced Settings block, configure the settings according to the following table.
    Note:

These settings are for advanced use only.

    Field

    Function

Forward Call to Presence IVR when Called from Personal Mobile to Personal Extension

Select this option, if you want that users are directly forwarded to the Presence IVR main menu when users call from their personal mobile number to their personal extension number.

Maximum Number of Destinations and Profiles in Cache

Enter the maximum number of destinations (that is, the called number data including the current schedule) and the profiles in the cache. By default, this means 5000 + 5000 entries. The default value is 5000.

Number of Digits Used in Comparison

Enter how many digits from the end of the number are used in comparison if the exact phone number matching is not feasible. Internal numbers are always compared in their full length.

    Log Level

Choose the debugging value in order to include extra debugging information in the CEM log files.

Show Extension Number (for Customized Use Only)

This setting is for customized use only. For more information, contact Sinch.

    Rejected Numbers

This setting is for testing purposes only. Enter a comma-separated list of numbers that are rejected immediately. This is used to prevent loops if an agent forwards calls accidentally to their own extension number. For example, if the agent's extension number in PSTN is +358912345666 and the agent's switchboard queue has been set to +358912345666. This would create an internal loop situation.

Prefixes to Be Removed if Number Search Fails

Enter the prefixes that are removed from the caller’s number if the search for the number fails when the values defined with the Prefixes to Be Removed Before Number Search setting have been removed. This allows users to enter local numbers into profiles and the database either by including or omitting the country code. This is not used for internal numbers. Usually this is used for removing the operator and country codes from the international calls, for example 00358.

Enter a comma-separated list of numbers optionally defining a replacement string, for example 00358=0,999358=0.

    Add Prefixes

Select this option, if you want that the prefixes for an inbound call are added to the caller’s number before starting the presence profile search.

    Prefix for Extension Numbers

Enter the prefix to be used with extension numbers (the prefix number common to all extension numbers within a communication management system). The value should include the country prefix and the local area code as well.

Prefixes to Be Removed Before Number Search

Enter the prefixes that always must be removed from the caller’s number before the search for the number is started. This is not used for internal numbers. Usually this is used for removing the operator code from the international calls, for example 00 or 999. Enter a comma-separated list of numbers optionally defining a replacement string, for example 00,999,991.

  3. In the Numbers block, enter the numbers for the built-in IVRs.
  4. In the Microsoft Teams Integration block, select which system's user presence you want to update: from Teams to Sinch Contact Pro or vice versa. To synchronize between the systems, select both.
For more information about the integration, see Configuring Microsoft Teams integration.
  5. Save your entries.
