User and role management
Creating and maintaining user accounts, assigning rights to users, creating and maintaining user groups through which you manage users’ rights, giving roles to user groups, defining default settings for users with user settings templates, using the Update wizard for updating settings (such as voicemail settings) of various users simultaneously
The user and role management includes the following:

You create and maintain user accounts.

You assign rights to users.

You create and maintain various user groups through which you manage users’ rights.

You give roles to user groups. The system contains default roles (for example contact center agent role, CC Agent) for different user types.

You define default settings for users with user settings templates. With templates, you can restrict the modifications by the users to some user interface settings and functions (for example the template settings can define that recording is activated and users are not allowed to deactivate it).

You use this for updating settings (such as voicemail settings) of various users simultaneously.
