Update wizard for users

You use the wizard to update user-related settings of multiple users such as:

You want to change the user interface language and the recording settings so that all calls except the ones that are forwarded are recorded. You also want to define one queue as forced.

  1. Search for the users whose settings you want to update by defining the search criteria.

    Or

    Click Search and then hold down Ctrl and click on the user names you want to include in the update.

  2. Choose Next.

    The Settings view opens.

  3. To set the recording setting, choose User Property Settings > Server-Side Recording > Forced (All Calls Except Forwarded Calls).

  4. To set the user interface setting, choose User Property Settings > User Interface Language > English.

  5. To define queues as forced, first choose Forced Queues and then choose the queue and On.

    If the users whose settings you are updating do not have rights to serve in the forced queue, the update fails.

  6. Choose Next.

    The user interface displays the summary of settings you are about to update. You can still go back to change them by choosing Previous.

  7. Choose Next.

    The update is carried out and the user interface displays the update results.

  8. To save the updated users as a user group, choose Save to Group.

    A dialog window appears for entering a name for the group.

  9. To exit the wizard, choose Finish.
