Anonymous user

A technical anonymous user is needed to ensure that only authorized access to reply templates is allowed and for using video assistance.

Prerequisites

  • Infrastructure Administrator > ECF Web Server > Anonymous RI Allowlist has allowed resources listed. For reply templates, the access is allowed by default which is sufficient for interactive template use.

  • For reply template use, interactive templates have been created.

Add an anonymous user

  1. On the System Configurator main screen, choose User and Role Management > Users.

  2. Choose Add New.

  3. Enter Anonymous as the first name and User as the last name.

  4. In the Certificates block, enter a dummy certificate:

  5. Save the user.

    If you're adding the anonymous user for video assistance, this is enough. If you're adding the anonymous user for reply templates, go to the next step.

  6. Go to Queue Management > Reply Templates and choose the interactive templates folder you have created.

  7. In Access Rights, give the user rights to view the templates.

  8. Save your changes.
