Virus Scanning and Malware Protection Programs
Some virus scanning or malware protecting programs, such as Microsoft Security Essentials (MSSE) or Microsoft Forefront endpoint protection, may impair CDT or Convergence functions by reserving too much CPU capacity. The following work-arounds have been found to be useful, however, always consult your security department before making any changes.
-
Exclude from scanning c:\users\*\appdata\local\temp\ContactCenter*.log
-
Optionally exclude from scanning:
-
c:\users\*\appdata\local\temp\mct*.txt
-
iexplore.exe - adding this have been found to be useful as per some customers; however, Sinch advice caution and recommends consulting your security team before changes.
