Voicemails

You may have a personal voicemail box, and you may have access to one or more queue voicemail boxes.

Prerequisites

For a personal voicemail box, you need the voicemail number and the PIN code. Superusers can define those in System Configurator.

To be able to listen to the queue voicemails and manage the queue mailbox, you need the Manage Voicemails rights in the queue, the voicemail number and the PIN code. Superusers can define those in System Configurator.

Configuration

Superusers configure user rights and PIN codes for users, and voicemail boxes for users and queues in System Configurator.

Superusers define the maximum number of messages saved. When the number of messages exceeds the limit, the application saves only the latest items. They can also define that you receive an SMS notification for a new voicemail message or that a copy of a new voicemail message is sent to you by email as well.

Note that if the length of a message is less than 2 seconds, the message is automatically removed.

Listening to Voicemail Messages

  1. Dial the voicemail box number to access the voicemail IVR application.

If you call from your mobile phone, the number must be recognized (that is, it must be the one defined in your user account as a Mobile Number).

    You hear the greeting message.

  2. Press the pound key (#) before the greeting ends.

  3. Enter your PIN code.

    Menu options are played.
