View Chat Conversation Thread

You can view earlier chat conversations the customer has made.

  1. When you have accepted a chat request or ended a chat conversation, click the arrow beside Previous Conversations The previous chats are searched and displayed.
  2. • To choose a previous conversation for viewing, use the Conversation History icon. This opens the conversation list and double-clicking a row opens this conversation in a separate view.
    Note:
    • History search results are lost when the chat status is changed from Accepted to Ended. Click the arrow again to renew the search.

    • History search is based on customer ID typically defined by the customer in the visitor chat page. If the customer ID is not defined or cannot be traced, the displayed history may not be complete.
