ClientCOM Interface
This easy-to-use interface allows third-party client-side applications to interact with the Sinch Contact Center software telephone (softphone) client. It provides methods for monitoring the activity between the softphone, the users, and the Sinch Contact Center servers.
The interface also provides methods for a third-party client-side application to initiate and answer calls via the softphone and to control users’ availability in Sinch Contact Center. In the ClientCOM integration scenario, a user intentionally works with two user interfaces: the softphone and a third-party application.
The interface is a single COM automation interface with just a few functions. These functions carry the actual commands and events in their parameters. The command and event parameters are encoded as name-value pairs into the strings.
