Using Video Call Function

Administrators define whether you have rights to use the video call function. For information about configuring the settings, see Configuring Advanced Phone Settings.

Make sure that you are using a compatible and supported device, as other devices may behave unpredictably. For information about the supported devices, contact the supplier.

You cannot use this function with conference calls.

  1. Install and configure the video cameras correctly.

For information about installation and configuration issues, contact the administrator. For information about the device itself and its basic use, see the device documentation.

  2. Click the Open Video Window button.

Two video windows appear and the active call is now a one-to-one video call.

If you have selected the Autostart option in the video call settings, a call is turned into a video call automatically when it is connected.

If you put the call on hold, the video windows disappear and you must reopen them when you retrieve the call (unless you have selected the Autostart option).
