Configuring Sinch Contact Pro for SBC

  1. Go to Infrastructure Administrator > [virtual unit] > Variables for Agent Server and for the Websocket SIP Proxies variable, enter the address of SBC providing WebRTC to SIP functionality and save.

  2. If you use the SBC in different locations, you need to configure the SBC address for users for the phone function to work.
    1. Go to System Configurator > Call Switching > Locations and choose the location.
    2. Select WebRTC Proxy.
    3. In Network Elements, choose location to which the user is tied.
    4. Add users and save.


The address is configured as a secure websocket URI, for example wss://cctr1.my.vm:443/. After the system has authenticated an agent with phone rights, Communication Panel opens a websocket to this URL for the phone functionality.
