Enter DTMF Digits During Active Calls
You can enter DTMF (dual tone multi-frequency) digits during active calls with the Dial Pad, for example, when answering a question in an IVR. Digits are separate items, you cannot enter a string.
- Click the Dial Pad button. The view opens.
- Click the DTMF switch.
-
Enter digits in one of the following ways. To clear the field, click the cross at the end
of the field.
- Select the digits with a mouse click in the dial pad. To enter the plus sign (+), click-and-hold the button for zero and plus, and then release.
- When the focus is on the dial pad input field, you can alternatively enter digits by using your keyboard. Numbers can be entered both from the actual keyboard and from the numeric keypad when the Num Lock is on.
-
The two special DTMF digits "*" and "#" can also be entered from the numeric keypad when the Num Lock is on during active phone calls. Press the "/" key on the numeric keypad to enter the value "#".
