Answering Calls
Use
Depending on your settings, an inbound call may trigger the following actions:

The Answer button turns green and blinks.

A notification popup appears above the CDT icon in the taskbar of your workstation.

CDT plays a ringing tone or a call waiting tone. For more information, see Configuring Audio Settings.

The user interface appears on the top of all open windows. For more information, see Configuring General Phone Settings.

The Phone or Directory view appears. Simultaneously the cursor may move to the search criteria field and you can continue by executing a search. For more information, see Configuring General Phone Settings and Configuring Directory Settings.

CDT executes a search or the call event view appears. For more information, see Configuring Directory Settings and Personal Call History.

An informative popup window appears. For more information, see Configuring General Phone Settings.

A queue-specific search group is automatically selected to be the target directory. For more information, see Search and Directory Functions and Configuring General Phone Settings.
Procedure
To answer an inbound call, do one of the following:

Click the Answer button.

Click the notification popup in the taskbar.

Press Enter.

Use a shortcut key.

Lift the receiver.
The available options depend on the settings defined by the administrator and on the handset/headset. It is also possible to use a startup parameter that defines that inbound calls are answered automatically. For more information, see Startup Parameters.
