Defining directory fields for users

You must have rights to create user settings templates and to view users and user groups.

You use this procedure to define directory fields for users. These fields are then displayed in Users > Directory Information.

  1. On the System Configurator main screen, choose User and Role Management > User Settings Template.
  2. To create a new template, choose Add New.

    Or

    Search for the template for which you want to define the directory fields.

  3. In the User's Directory Fields block, choose the fields from the dropdown list.

    The system contains default directory fields but you can create more in the Directory Management view.

    The fields are then displayed in the Directory Information view of the users.

  4. Save your entries.
