Dial Pad

With the Dial Pad you can make or transfer phone calls or use for entering DTMF inputs.

The Dial Pad button is enabled if you have chat or phone capability, and its buttons are enabled depending on your capabilities:

  • The Call button is enabled if you have the phone capability, and you have entered phone number in the field.

  • The Transfer button is enabled when you have an active call, and you have entered another phone number in the field.
  • The Close button is always enabled, it closes the Dial Pad.

You can enter numbers either with a keyboard or a mouse. Initiate dialing out with the call button or keyboard's Enter.

The DTMF switch turns on sending dual-tone multi-frequency (DTMF - using the voice-frequency band). This is required, for example, when answering responses in an IVR.

The Send Message button was moved to main screen in 2005.
