Implicit rights

Although rights are given through roles and groups, users have the following implicit rights:

  • Users are allowed to view their own data. This means the assignment blocks in the User view with the following exceptions:

    • Manager queue number in Manager Queue Settings

    • Queue names in User Rights (the Queue and Queue Group objects)

    • Queue settings in Queue and External Agent Settings

    • Reporting specifications and reporting group in Reporting Settings

  • Users are allowed to change their password.

  • Users who have voicemail are automatically allowed to access their voicemail messages.

  • Users are allowed to view the default system settings (that is, the system languages).

  • Users have full rights for objects (for example a queue) they create.

Users cannot remove their own accounts even if they had explicit rights to do so; deletion of a user account that is in an active session corrupts the system.
